On Thursday, the police registered a case in opposition to the accused and his household for allegedly raping a 14-year-old woman and assaulting the sufferer’s mom in Devarnia police station space of Bareilly district. Police sources, quoting the report filed right here, stated that the sufferer’s mom has complained to the police that her minor daughter was alone at house on Wednesday when her 42-year-old neighbor entered the home and raped the woman.

He advised that after the incident, the accused threatened to kill the sufferer and fled from the spot. When the family members returned within the night, the woman advised them in regards to the incident. Sources stated, it’s alleged that when the sufferer’s mom took the grievance to the accused’s home, his spouse and daughter beat her with sticks and threatened to kill her if she lodged a grievance. He stated that an FIR has been registered in opposition to the accused and the woman has been despatched for medical examination. Efforts are on to arrest the accused.
