A person was dragged on the bonnet of a automobile for a kilometre in a case of highway rage in Bengaluru on Friday. The CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media. It reveals a person, Darshan struggling to remain placed on the automobile which was allegedly pushed by a girl recognized as Priyanka. In a grievance to the police, the person, Darshan, alleged Priyanka’s Tata Nexon collided together with his Maruti Suzuki Swift.
As Priyanka’s automobile allegedly crashed with Darshan’s automobile, the latter got here out of the automobile. When Darshan tried to cease the automobile and converse to the occupants, Priyanka allegedly accelerated the automobile at excessive velocity and drove away, the police stated. Fearing that he might be run over, Darshan rapidly jumped and climbed on the bonnet of the automobile. The accused, then, sped away within the automobile for a kilometre with Darshan perched on the bonnet.
The girl, her husband and yet another individual have been booked on costs of try to homicide and conspiracy. The accused girl’s husband Pramod too lodged a counter grievance in opposition to Darshan and his three mates accusing them with beating him and molesting his spouse.
Police have arrested 5 folks on this connection.
