Delhi climate updates: With temperatures settling just a few notches greater in the previous couple of days, Dellihites have been spared from the chilly wave that gripped the northern elements of the nation. The nationwide capital recorded a minimal temperature of seven.6°C on Monday. 

Earlier on Sunday the nationwide capital recorded a minimal temperature of 8.2°C, one notch above regular whereas on Saturday the Safdarjung Observatory recorded the minimal temperature at 6.2°C.

In the meantime, the air high quality continued to stay within the ‘very poor’ class with the air high quality index (AQI) at 355 at 9 am, as per the System of Air High quality and Climate Forecasting and Analysis (SAFAR). 

The AQI within the Delhi College space was 389, whereas within the IIT Delhi space, it was recorded at 382. Within the Airport (T3) space, the standard of air was recorded at 387. 

An AQI between 201 and 300 is taken into account ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘extreme’.

IMD predicts rainfall between January 24 and 26

The India Meterological Division on Sunday predicted heavy rainfall over Northern India between twenty fourth to twenty sixth January.
