Samastipur accident: Over 40 injured in bus-truck collision in Bihar

Samstipur accident: No less than 40 folks had been injured when the bus by which they had been travelling collided head-on with a truck in Bihar’s Samastipur district on Monday, police mentioned. In response to police, the incident occurred on Nationwide Freeway-28 close to Chandchor village.

“The non-public bus was on its solution to Muzaffarpur from Barauni and collided with the truck coming from the other way… Locals with the assistance of police rescued the victims and took them to the closest authorities hospital”, Vinay Tiwary, Superintendent of Police, Samastipur advised reporters.

Vaishali Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar mentioned, “No less than 4 of the deceased are kids. The truck driver, whom we try to tug out of the mangled car, may have died”.
