Scoot acted promptly over rescheduled flight, took flyers’ care: DGCA | India Information

NEW DELHI: The Directorate Basic of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Saturday stated there was immediate response from Scoot with regard to many passengers lacking its Amritsar-Singapore flight on account of rescheduling of the departure timing on January 18.
The timing of the flight was modified on account of the prevailing foggy circumstances on the Amritsar airport, in line with the regulator. In a press release, DGCA stated it had sought a report from Scoot concerning the January 18 flight which departed from Amritsar to Singapore by which 17 passengers have been affected as they weren’t knowledgeable by their journey agent in regards to the change in time.
Citing the choices offered by the airline to the affected passengers, the watchdog stated the passengers have been taken care of and appreciated the immediate response from the airline.
The affected passengers got the choice to rebook free in one other flight inside 14 days, 120 per cent refund in type of vouchers or 100 per cent refund by mode of fee, the assertion stated. Businesses
