NEW DELHI: A humorous incident kicked off the second India vs New Zealand ODI in Raipur as skipper Rohit Sharma had a mind fade second when he breifly forgot what to do after he gained the toss.
When requested by commentator Ravi Shastri what India shall be doing after successful the toss, a puzzled Rohit couldn’t resolve whether or not he was going to bat or bowl. Ultimately, after a pondering for good 15 seconds Rohit advised match referee Javagal Srinath and Shastri that India shall be bowling first.
Even Rohit’s teammates — the likes of Siraj and Washington Sundar — within the background, appeared stunned because the occasion unfolded.
